Raquel Frausto

Vice President - Membership Education

Hi!! My name is Raquel Frausto and I am a biomedical sciences major from Belton, Tx! This year I am serving as Eta Alpha’s VP Member Education, a position in which I get to facilitate an environment of learning, as well as creating stronger bonds, within our chapter. Outside of Kappa Delta, I love to do mission work with my church, volunteer in the BCS community, and am a part of an organization called AMSA. This is all in the hopes of one day achieving my dream of attending medical school and working with Doctors Without Borders! Kappa Delta is an organization which has only strengthened this dream, as it’s motto “Go Confidently” is well instilled in all the members. The girls of this chapter truly radiate the values of “honorable, beautiful, and highest” and make up a part of the of the many reasons I love Eta Alpha. KD has truly given back to me so much more than I could’ve asked and I just hope to serve the chapter to the best of my abilities in the coming year! Love in AOT!

I am so thankful to Kappa Delta for giving such a wonderful group of friends and for pushing me to strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest. Outside of Kappa Delta I am a campus tour guide through the Aggie Experience Council and I volunteer and serve with my church community. In my free time I love spending time with my friends and family and going on new adventures. I am so excited to see what this next year holds! Go Confidently, Go Kappa Delta!

Madeleine Songy

Vice President - Community Service

Howdy! My name is Madeleine Songy and I have the privilege of serving as Eta Alpha’s Vice President Community Service for the 2019 year. I am an International Politics and Diplomacy and Spanish Double Major within the Cornerstone Honors Program at Texas A&M and I have intentions of getting my Masters in International Affairs at Texas A&M and going onto law school. Eta Alpha has held a special place in my heart since I walked in on bid day and first called Kappa Delta home. The values and causes that Kappa Delta supports resonate with me to the fullest, and have from day one. Becoming Vice President Community Service seemed like the best way to demonstrate my love for the chapter and everything being a Kappa Delta stands for. It’s an honor to be able to facilitate the connections between our chapter and the Girl Scouts of Brazos Valley, the Prenatal Clinic of Bryan and Prevent Child Abuse America as well as provide avenues for the girls to become even more involved in the Bryan College Station community. If I’ve learned anything in the first semester of my term, it’s that selfless service comes easy to my sisters and there’s nothing they won’t do to help each other and the community.
